public class LinearArray
extends Network

This implements Linear Array network. Because the underlying processor array is two-dimensional, this network "snakes" through the array starting at node(0,0) and ending at node(n,n). To avoid 'dangling' links, the last node(n,n)is connected to the first node(0,0) producing a 'circle'.

Parameters:

mp - The multiprocessor to be connected.

linkName - The name of the link type to be used to build this network. This shouyld be a fully qualified class name. This parameter may or may not be used in this method, depending on the type of network constructed.

Throws:

LinkException - if there is a problem allocating or using the Link objects.
